My Story
It all began in 1994. I was deeply drawn to the study of bio-psychology — the fascinating interplay between mind and body, and how our thoughts and emotions can influence physical health. I was captivated by stories of people who overcame illness through sheer mental strength. But at the time, the field was still in its infancy, and my father, ever pragmatic, worried I’d spend my life chasing research grants. He persuaded me to pursue Economics instead. I took his advice — though I kept Psychology as my minor, a quiet nod to the passion I couldn’t quite let go of.

Nearly three decades later, as a busy Finance leader, my entire life revolved around work. I ate, exercised, socialized, and even slept with my career in mind. Every decision was filtered through one question: Will this help me succeed professionally? I had been raised to value ambition and financial independence above all else — and I lived that belief fully. My husband was on a similar path, and many evenings found us side by side with our laptops and cups of tea, convincing ourselves this was quality time together.

After years in that relentless cycle, I began to see the truth: I had been diligently advancing other people’s agendas — my father’s, my managers’, the company’s — while neglecting my own. I started asking myself, What about my agenda? What brings me joy? What is my true purpose here?

Those questions brought me back to where it all began — to my fascination with the body’s innate ability to heal itself, and to my calling: inspiring others to take charge of their own health and well-being.
